Dine Out Boston 2022 Starts August 7th!

Dine Out Boston (formerly known as “Restaurant Week”) returns for two glorious weeks this August, giving you the chance to enjoy some of Boston’s best restaurants at special prices.

Choose from old favorites or the trendiest culinary spots, from award-winning restaurants of Boston and Cambridge or hidden gourmet gems in the northern, western, or southern suburbs of the city, from nationally-known restaurant chains or local chef-owned bistros, and from Asian or Italian fare or Argetianian or French cuisine. In short, get your palates ready to experience a medley of flavors. 

You can have dinner in Boston with a view of the best dine-out Boston restaurants with your loved ones. In addition to that, Dine Out Boston 2022 will also have an auction you can participate in that will go towards helping a local charity.

When is Dine Out Boston 2022?

Dine Out Boston takes place twice a year. It was held earlier this year from March 13 to March 27. It will be held next from August 7 to August 20.

How Long is Restaurant Week in Boston?

You can expect to enjoy and experience various culinary delights in restaurant week in Boston for two delightful weeks. 

While that may seem like a long time, there are over 100+ restaurants for you to explore. To make the most of those, we suggest making your very restaurant bucket list and making a plan with friends or family. That way, you’ll make the most of some of the best dine-out Boston restaurants.

How Much Does It Cost to Eat Out During Dine Out Boston? Dine Out Boston Prices

Dine Out Boston 2022

From classic Boston restaurants to trendy and newly-established gastropubs, there will be plenty of places to choose from this restaurant week in Boston. Participating restaurants will have prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner and you can select from one of three price options.

Lunch prices are $22, $27 and $32 and Dinner prices are $36, $41, $46.

Prices are per person and do not include beverages, tax, or gratuity. 

We recommend you check out the prix fixe menus online beforehand to make sure it’s something you’d be interested in before making your reservations. In addition to their prix fixe menus, each participating restaurant will still have other special menus so be sure to check out their websites for specific prices and menus. 

You may want to compare prices to their regular menu items and specials as some restaurants have better deals than others.

How Do You Take Part in Dine Out Boston?

The best thing about Dine Out Boston is you don’t need anything to participate – no coupons, vouchers, or special passes are required. You simply have to pick out a place from the list of participating restaurants and go.

Remember though that each participating restaurant will have its own special menu. You just need to let the server know you want to dine from the Dine Out Boston menu, choose from their price options, and the chef will prepare something to delight.

Because of the popularity of this event, it’s strongly recommended that you make reservations. Many of these restaurants will likely be more crowded than usual and waiting lines can be long. 

Many of these restaurants will also offer a Dine Out Boston takeout menu option if you prefer eating at home or somewhere else.

Where to Eat on a Budget during Dine Out Boston 2022?

Eating tasty does not have to break the bank. There are a total of 12 restaurants offering dinner for just $36 during Dine Out Boston Summer 2022. Antico Forno, Estragon, Paperback Tavern & Provisions and Season’s 52 Chestnut Hill are among the most highly rated ones. 

And if you want to eat Lunch on the cheap, Boston on Budget recommends Alcove Boston, Rosa Mexicano and Season’s 52 Chestnut Hill where you can eat a delicious meal for just $22!!!

Which Charity Will Benefit from Dine Out Boston?

For each Dine Out Boston event, there will be a Dine Out Boston auction, and proceeds will go to a chosen local charity. In March, proceeds from the March Dine Out Boston 2022 benefited the Plimoth Patuxet Museums and the Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy. The benefiting charity for this August will be revealed soon.
