MBTA Transit Police detectives arrested Walter Horsley, 43, of Boston, at his home on Tuesday after receiving “valuable tips” from the public. The department had released surveillance photos — and one carefully cropped shot of the act — on Monday asking the public’s help identifying the suspect.
Police say that Horsley boarded a Red Line train at Ashmont Station around 10:50 a.m. April 21. Once on the train, he allegedly stripped off his pants and underwear, laid down across some seats and “began to commit a lewd act … in full view of the passengers present,” according to the Transit Police.
